Tie-Dye Surprise
When taken into a dark room after exposure to bright light, this creepy-looking card reveals a reclining skeleton and a wacky black cat peering over a tombstone (all impossible to photograph, alas). The message reads, “Hope your Halloween is one surprise after another!” Point made.
Note that the design works folded and unfolded—moon becomes ghost, the first “surprise.” (Many trifold designs are a jumble until opened out.) Also, textured coating gives the paper a fabric-like feel, which really sells the tie-dye concept.
